The new Apple iPad: A complete stunner

2.) A5X chip with quad-core graphics – The new iPad has A5X, a more advanced processor leading to swifter performance. At the same time, like previous iPads, it has a touch interface marked with smoothness of access. In spite of new features, the new iPad has 10 hours of battery life like iPad 2.

 

3.) iSight camera and HD video recording – The 5-mega-pixel iSight camera has backside illumination sensor which allows clear pictures to be taken in any light condition. With the HD video recording, videos can be captured at total 1080p. It also contains automatic video stabilization. It functions to prevent unevenness of the videos which occur while taking videos with hand-held recorders.

 

4.) Wi-Fi and 4G with in-built 4G LTE – The new iPad has great connectivity features. Networks around the world are supported with ease. Internet access, upload, download etc, can be done at an amazing speed.

 

5.) iOS 5.1 – Apple claims this to be “the world’s most advanced mobile operating system”. It contains a number of brilliant features like AirPlay Mirroring and has thousands of applications.

 

6.) iCloud – iCloud provides a stunning example of cloud computing technology. It functions to store the user’s resources on the iPad such as photos, documents, music etc and sends them to his other devices.

 

7.) Dictation – Dictation puts a user’s fingers to rest by doing all the writing. By touching the microphone icon on the keyboard, a user can dictate to the iPad whatever he wants to type and the iPad would do the job.

 

The new iPad will be available from March 16, 2012. The prices are $499 (US) – 16GB model, $599 (US) – 32GB model and $699 (US) – 64GB model. The price of iPad Wi-Fi + 4G for either AT&T or Verizon is $629 (US) -16GB model, $729 (US) – 32GB model and $829 (US) – 64GB model. The wait is almost over for this wonderful piece of technology from Apple.
